Privacy Policy
Effective September 22, 2026
FrontDesk is a back-office assistant for service business owners. You text or call your FrontDesk number to save things about your business, and ask it to hand them back later. FrontDesk is run by Rebel AI Technology ("we," "us").
This policy explains what we collect, what we do with it, who helps us run the service, and how you delete it. The short version: we use your information to run FrontDesk for you, and for nothing else. We don't sell it, we don't use it for ads, and we don't use it to train AI models.
What we collect
When you sign up
Your business name, your name, your mobile number, your email address, your type of business, and your time zone.
What you send your FrontDesk number
The texts, photos, and voice calls you send to your FrontDesk number, including call transcripts, and whatever you put in them. That usually includes information about your own customers and workers: names, phone numbers, email addresses, street addresses, amounts owed and paid, appointments, reminders, notes, prices, and supply counts.
That customer information comes from you, and we use it only to run FrontDesk for you. FrontDesk does not text or call your customers.
Email you connect (optional)
If you connect a Gmail or Microsoft email account, we access messages in your inbox. See Google user data below for exactly what we access and how it's handled.
Email you ask us to send
When you tell FrontDesk to email someone, we keep the recipient, subject, message, and whether it was delivered.
Basic service records
Timestamps, delivery status, and error logs, so we can keep FrontDesk working and fix problems.
How we use it
- To save what you tell FrontDesk and give it back when you ask.
- To send you the reminders you set.
- To send the emails you tell it to send.
- To keep the service running, secure, and working properly.
That's it. We don't sell your information, we don't share it with advertisers or data brokers, we don't use it for ads, and we don't use it to train AI models.
Who helps us run FrontDesk
We use a small number of service providers. Each one receives only what it needs to do its job for FrontDesk.
| Provider | What they do |
|---|---|
| Telnyx | Delivers text messages and phone calls to and from your FrontDesk number. |
| ElevenLabs | Runs the voice assistant when you call your FrontDesk number. |
| OpenAI | Reads your messages to understand what you asked, and writes FrontDesk's reply. |
| Anthropic | Answers questions about the information you've saved, and reads emails back to you. |
| Google (Gemini) | Looks at photos you send when you ask for a price estimate. |
| Supabase | Stores your information and photos. |
| Vercel | Hosts the FrontDesk service. |
| Resend | Sends the emails you ask FrontDesk to send. |
We use these providers' business services, under which they do not use your information to train their AI models.
Google user data
This section covers what happens when you connect a Gmail account to FrontDesk. The same rules apply to a connected Microsoft email account.
What we access
Messages in your inbox: who sent them, the subject line, and the message text. We read your inbox. We do not delete, move, or change anything in it.
How we use it
Only to answer you. FrontDesk uses your email to tell you what's come in, find a message when you ask (for example, "anything from Mike?"), and read a message back to you. We don't use it for anything else.
How we store it
Messages FrontDesk pulls from your inbox are saved in our database so it can answer questions about them later. They're kept until you disconnect your email and ask us to delete them, or close your account.
Who sees it
- When you ask about an email, its text may be sent to OpenAI or Anthropic solely to produce the answer you asked for. They do not use it to train their models.
- No one at Rebel AI reads your email unless you ask us to (for example, to fix a problem you reported), it's needed to investigate abuse or keep the service secure, or the law requires it.
- Your email is never sold, never shared with advertisers, never used for ads, and never used to train or improve AI or machine learning models.
The use of information received from Google Workspace scopes will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
As long as your account is open. When you close your account, we delete your information within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep something longer.
How to delete your data
- Disconnect Gmail: go to myaccount.google.com/permissions, choose FrontDesk, and remove access. FrontDesk stops reading your inbox immediately.
- Disconnect Microsoft email: remove FrontDesk from the apps listed in your Microsoft account's privacy or app permissions settings.
- Delete your stored email, or everything: email a.harrington@rebelaitech.com from the address on your account, or include your FrontDesk number. We'll delete it within 30 days and confirm when it's done.
Text messages
FrontDesk texts only you, the business owner, at the number you signed up with. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Security
Your information travels over encrypted connections and is stored with providers that encrypt data at rest. Access is limited to Rebel AI and the service providers listed above, only for the purposes described here.
Children
FrontDesk is for businesses and isn't intended for anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll text you before it takes effect.
